Airport Analogy
As I was reading about long lines, difficulty of access, lack of understanding, I could not help thinking of the experience of going through security in airports. Can we learn from this stressful experience to make voting more accessible? Submitted by: Anne-Laure Fayard MISSION #4: Learn from Analogies

in France some of the most simple way of voting is for presidential and referendum - as the question and answer are simple - no multiple choice questionnaires where ticking becomes random.

Should I fly home to vote?
If setting a virtual voting system isn’t possible, how can a country encourage oversea voters to plan a flight back home and vote?

Super PAC
In USA it seems like politicians rely a lot upon branding and marketing just like a beverage or a sneaker (fast movable consumer products). They spend lots of money on TV ads and propaganda.

Voting Without Arms
The wheelchair is the International symbol for accessibility, but physical disabilities are not limited to the use of wheelchairs. This man is able to travel on an airplane independently, but not without help.

Long lines waiting to vote
One problem I see with elections are the long lines to vote. This makes voting inconvenient and difficult if you don't have time, patience, or energy to stand in a long line.

Turning colors into sounds, and vice versa
Neil Harbisson is an artist who suffers achromatopsia, a condition that only allows him to see in black and white. But with his ‘eyeborg’ he translates colors into sounds, and vice versa. Why not use sounds and colors to develop another voting?

Wheelchair Tour of Voting Booths--put policy makers in wheelchairs to test accessibility
Tourists tour the old Jerusalem neighborhood of Nachlaot by wheelchair to test its accessibility. What if our policy makers all got into wheelchairs (or had blindness goggles or specialized earplugs) to test compliance with the Help America Vote Act?

Mail me things I need
Every month around 14th, I will receive an empty envelope from the super, it reminds me to mail the check on time. So maybe this is a good way to remind voters to join the election as well.

Proxy voting
Delegating somebody to vote on behalf of others can have two benefits: [1] People are able to vote who otherwise wouldn't be able to vote, [2] The person casting the vote on behalf of somebody else can also vote themselves.
